What are the nanometers on the LED Wand?

Red light: 620 - 630 nm

Blue light: 460 - 470 nm

Green light: 520 - 530 nm

What if my client has sensitive skin or experiences a reaction?

For clients prone to sensitivity, a slight redness is normal, particularly when they first start using the product. The Prep Cleanser contains three naturally derived acids; Lactic, Glycolic, and Salicylic all at less than 1% concentration. This combination is designed to increase circulation to the skin's surface.

Important Usage Guidelines:

  • Clients must avoid using other active ingredients or fragranced products simultaneously. If the treated area is exposed to sunlight, SPF is mandatory.

Skin Adaptation and Allergic Reactions:

  • Skin typically adapts to new skincare products over time. However, if symptoms persist after a couple of weeks of consistent use (e.g., once a day or every other day), the client may be allergic to an ingredient. This highlights the critical importance of a thorough consultation and a signed consent form before treatment.

Post-Reaction Recommendations:

  • If a client experiences a reaction, we recommend using a good moisturizer and applying something cool to the skin in the future. We also highly recommend our Oncology Esthetics products, Strength (Repair Balm) and Courage (Facial Comfort Cream), as excellent at-home support products to use alongside the Duo Kit.
My products are a different color than before, is this normal?

Because Bryght products are All Natural, you may notice slight variations in color and consistency between different batches. Please be assured that this is normal.

All of our products are manufactured in FDA-approved cosmetic laboratories, and every batch must pass rigorous testing and quarantine before being released to us. If your only concern is a minor difference in color or consistency, rest assured that the product you received is safe to use.

Does my business insurance cover Bryght Services?

Since insurance coverage and requirements vary by region, we cannot recommend a specific company or policy. We suggest you use the following tips when researching insurance options:

  • Product Description: Classify Bryght as a Brightening treatment. Bryght uses tyrosinase inhibitors and does not contain actual "bleach". Avoid the word 'lighten'. This classification is similar to how brightening facials are typically listed.
  • Treatment Comparison: Consider that applying Bryght is comparable to using a lotion or oil after a waxing or sugaring treatment. Review how you classify your existing post-hair removal lotions.
  • Local Networking: Contact another spa in your area that offers Bryght services and ask them about their insurer.
When will I receive my digital download?

If you ordered any digital download item, you will get an automatic email with a link to download your file, if you do not receive your digital download via email please reach out to info@bryghtenup.com

Can I finish the protocol with SPF?

Yes, it is recommended to complete the treatment with spf.

Are the retail products as effective as the professional?

While the Duo Kit can achieve the same Bryghtening results as the professional treatment, it requires significantly more time. This is because the Duo Kit is the at-home version, which contains a less concentrated formula than the professional product and does not utilize LED light technology.

Are sample sizes available?

Currently, we do not provide sample sizes for our intimate bryghtening products. These products are all-natural, and while some clients experience immediate results, the full benefit typically requires a commitment.

If the price is a concern, we offer payment plans through Sezzle, which you can select during checkout.

Retail Product Samples

We do offer sample sizes for some of our retail items, specifically; SWEAT, Strength, and Courage.

Are there any contraindications to using to bryght?

To ensure the best and safest results, avoid using Bryght products under the following conditions:

  • Pregnancy and Breastfeeding: Due to heightened hormones, results may not last and could increase hyperpigmentation. Wait until after pregnancy and breastfeeding for optimal results.
  • Harsh Chemical Use: Do not use Bryght products in conjunction with hydroquinone, kojic acid, or any other harsh chemicals that can strip or over-lighten the skin.

  • Tools and Training: We cannot guarantee results if the products are used without our professional training or with devices other than the "Let There Be Lyght LED Wand."
How have the products been tested and what were the findings?

Bryght underwent a 6-month clinical testing period focused on continuous improvements. This rigorous process ensured esthetician ease-of-use and client satisfaction remained our top priorities. On average, clients see results after just one professional treatment!

Is Bryght safe to use when pregnant?

While our formula is completely natural and safe, we do not recommend using it during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

During this time, heightened hormones can trigger new pigmentation and make skin more unpredictable. To ensure the best and most consistent results, it is safest to wait until your hormonal levels return to normal after pregnancy and nursing before beginning your Bryght treatment.

 Where are the products made?

Since 2020, our products have been proudly manufactured in FDA-approved labs in the USA. We use only all-natural, high-quality ingredients, ensuring both safety and effectiveness.

Are the products all vegan friendly?

Yes, it is 100% vegan-friendly, as all ingredients are plant-derived.

Why are Bryght products labeled as "all-natural" instead of "100% natural"?

Bryght products are nearly 100% natural, but because we needed to add a thickening agent in Professional Step 3 and Treat Gel the overall line is marketed as all-natural.

What is hyperpigmentation?

Hyperpigmentation is the process that causes skin to darken, usually it is not harmful however it can be a symptom of medical conditions. There are several types of hyperpigmentation including:

  • melasma
  • lentigines (sun/age spots)
  • post- inflammatory hyperpigmentation
  • ephelides (freckles)
  • smokers melanosis
  • facultative (uneven skin tone that changes during life)

Triggers and activators of hyperpigmentation include:

  • UV damage (sun exposure)
  • genetics
  • trauma / heat
How does bryght treat the above types of hyperpigmentation?
  • The Professional Treatment corrects hyperpigmentation by utilizing a botanical-rich, 4-step system to exfoliate surface pigment and inhibit Tyrosinase, the enzyme responsible for melanin production. When accelerated by the Let There Be Lyght™ LED Wand, these antioxidant-driven actives safely retrain the skin to stop overproducing pigment without the risk of bleaching or irritation. This multi-action approach restores the skin to its natural, even tone from the inside out.
  • The Duo Kit works by providing a daily dose of tyrosinase inhibitors and skin-soothing botanicals to the treated area.
Can all types of pigmentation be treated?

While Bryght is highly versatile, it is important for professionals to distinguish between treatable surface pigment and non-treatable structural or medical conditions.

Bryght is effective against hyperpigmentation caused by external and hormonal factors, including:

  • Friction-Induced Darkening: Underarms, inner thighs, and "chafing" spots.
  • Post-Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation (PIH): Dark marks left behind by acne, ingrown hairs, or minor scarring.
  • Hormonal Pigment: Melasma (the "pregnancy mask") and shifts in intimate skin tone.
  • Environmental Damage: Sunspots, age spots, and liver spots on the face and body.

What CANNOT be treated with Bryght?
Professionals should identify the following conditions as "out of scope" for bryghtening treatments:

  • Moles and Birthmarks: These are structural clusters of melanocytes or vascular tissue. They are permanent and should never be treated with lightening products.
  • Internal Pigment: Bryght is for external use only. It cannot treat discoloration inside the vaginal canal or internal mucosal tissues.
  • Active Skin Infections or Open Wounds
  • Raised Scars (Keloids): While Bryght can help fade the color of a flat scar, it cannot change the texture or thickness of a raised keloid.
  • Vitiligo: Bryght is designed to reduce excess pigment. It cannot "restore" color to the white patches associated with Vitiligo.
  • Birthmarks
Can Bryght be used on any area of the body?

Yes. Bryght is a botanical, plant-based system formulated for safe use on all external areas of the body. While it is powerful enough to correct hyperpigmentation on the face, underarms, knees, and elbows, it is uniquely gentle enough for the most sensitive intimate regions.

Treatable areas include:

  • Face: For melasma, sun damage, and acne scarring.
  • Body: Underarms, bikini lines, knees, elbows, and ankles.
  • Intimate Areas: The anal region, the external labia, as well as the penis and scrotum .

Why it’s safe for sensitive zones:

  • It is meticulously pH-balanced to ensure it effectively brightens without disrupting the delicate microbiome or natural acid mantle. It provides professional-grade results Head to Toe & Down Below™ without the risk of irritation or chemical imbalance.
Can all fitzpatrick skin types be treated?

Yes. Bryght is professionally formulated to be safe and effective for the entire Fitzpatrick Scale (I–VI).

What areas are most commonly treated with Bryght?

Face, underarms, back, knees, elbows, ankles, inner thighs, derriere/butt cheeks and intimate areas like the anal region, labia, penis and scrotum.

What is “anal bleaching” and is it only used on this area?

“Anal bleaching” is a common industry term for the process of brightening the skin in the perianal region to create a more uniform, aesthetically pleasing skin tone.

While Bryght is a leader in this specific service, it is not limited to the anal region. Our botanical system is designed for "Head to Toe & Down Below™" use. Because our products are pH-balanced and gentle enough for the most sensitive tissues, they are commonly used to treat hyperpigmentation on:

  • Intimate Areas: The anal region, external labia, penis, and scrotum.
  • Body Folds: Underarms and bikini lines.
  • Other Sensitive Zones: Around the nipples (areola), knees, and elbows.

A Professional Distinction: Unlike traditional "bleaching," which uses harsh chemicals to strip pigment, Bryght uses a natural brightening system. This ensures the skin is never damaged or over-lightened, making it the safest choice for any hyper-pigmented area on the external body.

Is it common to have discolored intimate areas?

Yes, it is extremely common and entirely normal. Discoloration in the intimate regions including the labia, scrotum, and perianal area affects the majority of adults. Intimate skin is biologically different from the rest of the body; it is more sensitive, more reactive to hormones, and subject to constant physical stress.

How lyght will the area become with regular use?

With regular use, Bryght restores the skin to its natural, genetic baseline by lifting excess pigment, often resulting in an immediate brighter looking skin after the first professional session. Because the formula is botanical and avoids harsh bleaching agents, it will safely even out discoloration without the risk of over-lightening or creating permanent white spots. Consistent use of the Duo Kit homecare ensures these results are maintained by continuously suppressing new pigment formation.

How do clients maintain their results?

To achieve and sustain a brighter, even skin tone, clients should follow a two-phase approach:

  • The Corrective Phase: Schedule the 4-step professional treatment 1–2 times per week at the spa until the desired level of lightening is reached.
  • The Maintenance Phase: Once the target shade is achieved, clients must maintain their results with The Duo Kit twice daily. This consistent homecare prevents new pigment from forming and protects the skin from future friction-induced darkening.
How often should the professional treatment be performed?

While the Bryght formula is exceptionally gentle and pH-balanced, the system contains active exfoliants (AHAs and BHAs). Performing the treatment too frequently on sensitized or over-exfoliated skin may lead to irritation.

For the best results and skin health, we recommend the following schedules:

  • The "Maintenance" Standard: Schedule the Bryght Professional Treatment alongside every waxing or sugaring appointment (typically every 4–6 weeks). This treats the skin immediately after hair removal when follicles are open and the area is already being serviced.
  • The "Corrective" Series: For clients with stubborn or deep hyperpigmentation, the treatment can be performed as often as once a week for a series of 4–6 sessions.
  • The "Sensitivity" Rule: Always assess the skin’s barrier before proceeding. If a client is showing signs of over-exfoliation (excessive redness, peeling, or stinging), delay the treatment by one week and focus on hydration.
Can Bryght be mixed with other professional salon treatments, such as an upgrade to a facial?

No. It is strongly recommended to perform the Bryght Professional Treatment as a standalone service. To ensure skin safety and prevent over-exfoliation, do not mix or layer Bryght with other aggressive modalities such as chemical peels, lasers, microdermabrasion, or microdermabrasion.

The "Waxing" Exception: Bryght is safe to perform immediately following a wax or sugar service, as it is formulated to calm the skin and treat the open follicle.

How would you combine laser and bryght?

With laser treatments, we recommend waiting at least 7 days pre and post-treatment. This instruction usually comes from the laser companies, to avoid any skincare in the area for 7 days.

How much does Bryght recommend charging for professional services?

Setting your price point for the Bryght Professional Treatment depends on your local market, the specific area being treated, and your level of expertise. Because this is a specialized "niche" service, it carries a high value.

Service Pricing Guidelines;

  • Single Sessions: Depending on your location and the size of the treatment area, you can charge anywhere from $50 to $250+ per treatment.
  • The "Add-On" Model: Small areas like the underarms or a "lip & chin" brightening treatment typically fall on the lower end ($50–$75), while larger or more sensitive areas like the "Head to Toe & Down Below™" full-body or anal brightening services command premium pricing ($150–$250+).
  • The Power of Packages: Hyperpigmentation correction is a progressive journey. It is best to recommend Treatment Packs of 3, 5, or 10 sessions depending on the severity of the pigment. Selling packages ensures client commitment and better long-term results.
  • The "Homecare Bundle": For maximum efficacy, bundle the initial professional treatment with the Bryght Duo Kit. Example: "The Bryght Starter Pack" includes 1 Professional Treatment + 1 Duo Kit for a set price.
  • The "Waxing Upgrade": Offer a special "Introductory Rate" for clients to add a Bryght treatment to their existing wax or sugar appointment.
What if we don’t remove the hair first when performing a lyghtening treatment?

While Bryght can be applied to skin with hair, it is highly recommended to remove the hair follicle (via waxing or sugaring) immediately prior to the professional treatment. Removing the hair clears the "barrier" from the skin's surface, allowing for deeper product absorption and more visible, instant results.

How long should you wait to perform Bryght after peels?

For professional safety and to ensure the skin’s barrier has fully recovered, you should wait at least 7-14 days after a chemical peel before performing a Bryght treatment.

Because both systems contain active exfoliants (AHAs and BHAs), performing them too close together significantly increases the risk of over-exfoliation, chemical burns, or triggering Post-Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation (PIH). Always ensure the skin is completely healed, with no visible peeling or sensitivity, before proceeding with the Bryght 4-step system.

Do the products contain any harsh chemicals?

No. All Bryght products are formulated with a plant-based, all-natural philosophy. Our system is strictly free from harsh or controversial chemicals such as hydroquinone, kojic acid, and mercury.

While hydroquinone is a common industrial lightener, it is frequently associated with unpleasant side effects, including irritation, rebound hyperpigmentation, and long-term skin thinning. At Bryght, we believe these ingredients are not appropriate or safe for use on delicate intimate areas.

Instead, we utilize high-performance botanical inhibitors and stable antioxidants that deliver professional-grade results without compromising the skin's health or comfort.

Are these products safe for people with hypersensitive skin?

Yes. Bryght was specifically engineered with sensitivity in mind. Because the system is all-natural, plant-based, and pH-balanced, it is safe for even the most reactive skin types. Still, we strongly recommend performing a small patch test before application.

What are the active ingredients that lyghten the skin?

Check out ingredients by product here.

How long until the results are seen?

Most clients see an immediate improvement after their very first professional treatment. While results vary based on the depth of pigment and individual skin chemistry, the most dramatic and long-lasting transformations occur after a series of treatments paired with consistent Duo Kit homecare.
